چکیده

Constructing an accurate geological model of the reservoir is a preliminary to make any reliable prediction reservoir’s performance. Afterward, one needs simulate flow predict dynamic behaviour. This process usually associated with high computational costs. Therefore, alternative methods such as percolation approach for rapid estimation efficiency are quite desirable. study tries address Well Testing (WT) interpretation heterogeneous reservoirs, constructed from two extreme permeabilities, 0 and K . In particular, we simulated drawdown test on typical site mediums, occupied fraction “ p ” at constant rate Q / h , compute well-known pressure derivative (d P /dlnt). provides us “apparent” permeability values, significant property move forward prediction. It good mention that hypothetical wellbore locates in middle assumed conditions. Commercial software utilized perform simulations well analysis. Next, recorded against time different realizations values With information provided, medium obtained. Finally, change this compared alteration homogeneous following that, its dependency parameters has been analysed. The result shows power-law relation between average (considering all realizations) occupancy probability ”. conclusion helps improve analysis testing reservoirs structures.

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Numerical Study of Single Phase/Two-Phase Models for Nanofluid Forced Convection and Pressure Drop in a Turbulence Pipe Flow

In this paper, the problem of turbulent forced convection flow of water- alumina nanofluid in a uniformly heated pipe has been thoroughly investigated. In numerical study, single and two-phase models have been used. In single-phase modeling of nanofluid, thermal and flow properties of nanofluid have been considered to be dependent on temperature and volume fraction. Effects of volume fraction a...

A multiple-continuum model for simulating single-phase and multiphase flow in naturally fractured vuggy reservoirs

a r t i c l e i n f o The existence of vugs or cavities in naturally fractured reservoirs has long been observed. Even though these vugs are known for their large attribution to reserves of oil, natural gas, or groundwater, few quantitative investigations of fractured vuggy reservoirs have been conducted. In this paper, a multiple-continuum conceptual model is presented, based on geological dat...

Accurate Subgrid Models for Two-Phase Flow in Heterogeneous Reservoirs

Subgrid effects can have a strong influence on flow and transport in oil reservoirs. In this work, a new model for the representation of subgrid terms is introduced and applied to two-phase reservoir flows. The model entails a generalized convection-diffusion treatment of the saturation equation as well as an extended representation for total mobility in the pressure equation. Motivation for th...
